ACCESS TO UNIVERSITY RESOURCES
Access to university resources
Metro Atlanta is home to 43 colleges and universities, and 9 technical colleges. With
such a large concentration of institutions and even private training programs, numerous
resources are available for continuing education, executive training, and even
collaborative research and development.
Your economic development project manager can put you in touch with the appropriate
individual at any of the region’s post secondary institutions to support your company’s
unique talent requirements. The region also has a resume database of college educated
students and alumni at www.georgiahire.com. Opportunities for research are available
through direct contact with our institutions and through the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA). GRA is a strategic partnership of Georgia’s business, community and
government, and six public and private research universities including the University of
Georgia, Georgia Tech, the Medical College of Georgia, Emory University, Clark Atlanta
University and Georgia State University.
Contact us for more information about how our post secondary institutions can be a great
resource to identify well trained and even experienced talent.
