Transportation Planner
Industry Background
I was first introduced to the logistics industry as a transportation analyst at Sweetheart Cup Company. Later, I entered the transportation planning industry as a transportation planner at Georgia Department of Transportation. My career focus is to elevate the needs of the logistics / freight industry into the transportation planning process. I am a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Freight Advisory Taskforce, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Logistics Innovation Council, and the Georgia Planning Association.
What’s unique to you about Atlanta Logistics?
Atlanta is a city where a multimodal transportation program can truly benefit the mobility of freight and people. Currently over $2 million dollars are being spent to identify ways to improve the transportation infrastructure as it relates to freight. Atlanta is unique because of the level of public and private commitment of funds and resources to identify and implement freight mobility solutions.
Why are you or your business here?
I am here for the opportunity to work in an aggressive city, looking to refine its image - where I can utilize my training in logistics and planning.
